Dr. Yaw Gyima-Larbi
Dr. Yaw Gyima-Larbi is a retired Chartered Banker and former Assistant Director of Bank of Ghana. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from Business University, Costa Rica in 2007 and a Masters Business Administration from the University of Ghana Business School in 1997.
Dr. holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics also from University of Ghana. He has over thirty-five (35) years of experience in Banking and Finance, including Project Management, Consultancy, and Facilitator in Internal Control and Fraud, Corporate Governance, General Management, Risk Management in Banks and Microfinance Institutions.
Dr. is an external examiner at Central University and an adjunct lecturer at ISSER, University. Dr. is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB)
Philip Edem Kutsienyo
Philip Edem Kutsienyo is a legal practitioner who specializes in Civil Ligation in Corporate and Commercial Law Practice, Banking Law, Labour Law, Real Property law and family law in the Superior Courts of Ghana.
Edem has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Ghana, Legon. He also has an LL.B from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Qualifying Certificate of Law from the Ghana School of Law. Edem has also taken a full course in Securities at the Ghana Stock Exchange
Edem is in his fourth year of practice as a lawyer and in that period he has taken part in several transactions in corporate law practice and civil litigation. He has undertaken several legal due diligence on behalf of Emirates National Oil Company, African Development Bank and Danone SA in collaboration with Herbert Smith Freehills, Paris and Milbank, London.
Edem was part of a team and author of the written address to the High Court on behalf of ADM Cocoa Ghana in ADM Cocoa GH Ltd v International Land Development Company in which case the court gave judgment of $2M in favour of ADM COCOA Ghana. He has also undergone several Continuous Legal Education; he has taken part in various workshops organized by the Ghana Bar Association. He as also attended a workshop on International Arbitration with Mock Arbitration Session and a conference on Data Protection in Ghana.
Edem is an ardent believer in giving back to society and thus volunteers for the Juvenile Justice Project (JJP) where he provides legal services for juveniles who have offended the law on a pro – bono basis. Whiles at the Ghana School of Law, he founded the charity wing of the Students’ Representative Council which pays for surgical procedures for poor and indigent children at the Pediatric Surgery Department of the Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital in the Republic of Ghana.
George Nkrumah is a hardworking and resourceful economist with extensive understanding of economic policy management and its practical implications on society.
The experience includes undertaking analytic work and research projects with minimal supervision, whilst working in a team environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
He also has experience in Treasury Management, depository operations, global financial markets, corporate governance issues and an anti-money laundering specialist. He has worked in various departments in Bank of Ghana for the past eighteen years.
He was also a part-time lecturer in Economics, quantitative techniques and cost accounting at the Accra Polytechnic.
He holds a master’s degree in Economic Policy Management (EPM) and is also a Certified Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
George Nkrumah has attended various international courses, workshops seminars and attachments with various institutions and countries.
